CHURCH OF SAINT-SAËNS
Church founded in the eleventh century and rebuilt in the nineteenth, with neo-Gothic and neo-Romanesque styles, hosts concerts.
This church, located in the heart of Saint-Saëns, looks like the abbey church of Saint-Georges-de-Boscherville... This is not by chance, since the monument was indeed copied from the latter. Originally built in the 11th century, the church was then completely rebuilt at the very end of the 19th century following a violent storm. It mixes neo-Gothic and neo-Romanesque styles and boasts beautiful 14th and 16th century stained glass windows recovered from the original church. Concerts are organized in the church.
