CHURCH OF SAINT-SAËNS
Church founded in the eleventh century and rebuilt in the nineteenth, with neo-Gothic and neo-Romanesque styles, hosts concerts.
This church, located in the heart of Saint-Saëns on the main square, was inspired by the abbey church of Saint-Georges-de-Boscherville. Originally built in the 11th century, the church was completely rebuilt at the very end of the 19th century following a violent storm. It blends neo-Gothic and neo-Romanesque styles, and boasts magnificent 14th- and 16th-century stained-glass windows salvaged from the original church. Concerts are regularly held here, providing an opportunity to showcase the church's beautiful organ.
