Forest with one of the most beautiful beech forests in France to discover 34 classified tree species and rare plant species
The forest of Eawy (pronounced E-a-vi) has a name of Germanic origin which means "wet meadow". It has one of the most beautiful beech forests in France which covers 7,200 m². There are also 34 species of classified trees, and rare plant species such as wild orchids. As for the fauna, many birds, wild boars and deer live there. From Saint-Saëns, you can get there by taking the D12 in the direction of Ventes-Saint-Rémy, then Maucomble up to the parking lot located at the entrance of the Carcahoux road.
