A staircase near the casino leads to the cliffs of Saint-Valery, offering breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding countryside.
At the foot of the casino, a staircase goes up to the cliffs. The steps seem steep from the bottom, but the small climb is worth it to finish the visit of Saint-Valery in beauty. Up there, you can admire the meadows, the paths and the sea which reflects the lights of the sky magnificently. If the ascent was not too hard, you can continue the walk overhanging the cliffs by the GR21. Otherwise, just go and see the Costes and Bellonte monument commemorating the passage over Saint-Valery of the first Paris/New-York flight, in 1930!
