LE VASTERIVAL GARDEN
Go there and contact
Garden of 9 hectares, rich in 10,000 species including roses, camellias, rhododendrons, magnolias, hydrangeas.
Former residence of the composer Albert Roussel (1869-1937), the Vasterival was acquired in 1955 by Princess Greta Sturdza, originally from Moldavia. A lover of nature, she gradually built this 9-hectare garden, which today boasts 10,000 species: roses, camellias, rhododendrons, magnolias, hydrangeas... A bucolic place where it's good to get lost during a walk. But make sure you wear shoes! The passionate will be able to follow horticulture courses and pruning classes, and the youngest will be able to attend a potting workshop... followed by a snack!
