FESTIVAL ART ET DÉCHIRURE

Initially, two men, Joël Delaunay and José Sagir, decided to accompany hospitalised persons to care for psychiatric disorders. With leaves, pencils, brushes, workshops organised, as a haven where the inner demons express themselves without fear in drawing, painting, collage. We are in the so-called Art Brut, invented by Jean Dubuffet to designate the productions of people free from artistic culture. These singular creations collected in the workshops dedicated to people in great psychological distress - but not only that - are presented every year since 1989 at various sites in the Romanian town, mainly the Halle to the Toiles. There are treasures, to see absolutely. At the same time, shows and films prolong reflection on this suffering, whether treated or not.
