CHURCH AND MARINE CEMETERY
Church and marine cemetery to discover one of the quietest and most interesting places on the entire coast.
This small 12th century church and its marine cemetery are true havens of peace for the repose of souls. For the living, it’s one of the most beautiful cemeteries in France, overlooking the sea and its sublime shades of blue. Some famous men are buried here: the composer Albert Roussel and the architect Paul Nelson, resting beside his friend Georges Braque. In the church, you can see Braque’s very last stained glass window, a tree of Jesse in brilliant blues.
