This pretty church dates from the 12th century and its flamboyant bell tower overlooks the village from the top of its 33 metres. In the cemetery lie Léopoldine Hugo and Charles Vacquerie, as well as Victor Hugo's wife and another daughter. Inside the church, look up at the windows to admire the 16th century stained glass windows. The stained glass window representing a naval battle is exceptional, both in its ancient age and in its realism: sailor's costumes, naval strategy, it is a real source of historical information... More traditional evangelical scenes are depicted on other stained glass windows.
