BROTONNE BRIDGE
Bridge crossing the forest of Brotonne in Rives-en-Seine, offering a breathtaking view on the forest and the Seine, to discover.
A forerunner in the field of civil engineering due to its fan-shaped structure and its stays, the Brotonne Bridge, which crosses the forest of the same name, was inaugurated on July 9, 1977. His objective? Connect Yvetot to the A13 motorway via a 1,278 m long stretch of road. At the time, its span of only 320 m was not sufficient to use the usual girders or to design a suspension bridge. Since 2006, the crossing of the Brotonne bridge is free. You will enjoy a breathtaking panorama of the forest and the Seine.
