Created in 1981, the tourist information office of the region of Arpajon became a few years later a tourist office, then finally the tourist office of the agglomeration as a whole. The objective of this office is to promote Arpajon and its surroundings as a tourist destination and to promote the heritage. The small reception office near the town hall was no longer sufficient, so the office moved into new buildings, recognizable with their stone walls, and with a larger surface area. There is a wide range of documentation that will provide answers to all the questions you may have: history of the various cities, practical guides, tourist maps, brochures and leaflets. The office also publishes the Arpajonnais practical guide every year. Very dynamic, it also organizes one-day trips in Île-de-France and beyond, hikes and walks: Parisian museums, trips lasting several days in the provinces for example.
