In 1470, the Admiral of Graville, who is Lord of Chastres and Marcoussis, built this great hall to house an important market that is regularly held in the city. It consists of three neves covered by a large roof with brown tiles renovated in the 1950 s. The frame, made in oak, is unique by its dimensions: 35 m out of 18. This majestic look today welcomes a market on Friday and Sunday.

C'est le point d'attraction de la ville ! Ces halles sont vraiment majestueuses, et apporte une bonne touche historique à la ville. Le marché qui s'y déroule dessous chaque vendredi et dimanche est super et animé.
it is a beautiful food market and there are sometimes steps regional wines cheese... and or every Friday amtin this unrolls promenade to the usual all shopkeepers a nice place
Building to see, as it has been preserved in the state of the 15° century. Every Friday takes place market and several a year events, the handicraft fair, the fair with beans (which is done for decades) and many others.
