BOIGNEVILLE ECOMUSEUM

Designed and realized by the municipality, the ecomuseum is located in the former barn barn of the champêtre. Presented on 3 floors, the collection allows you to discover a rural village in the French Gâtinais. Agricultural machinery, school equipment, photographs and posters, you will be able to bring you into the life and history of Boigneville. It is also an open book on everyday life in the countryside at the beginning of the th century. To discover: a unique collection of posters dating from the German occupation during the Second World War. These documents were kept by an official from the Mairie town hall who has always refused to display them. An act of resistance! All the pieces were given by inhabitants of the village or outside persons interested in the museum philosophy. Every year new objects are to be discovered. A real memory work.
