BOUVERET PHILIPPE
Philippe Bouveret is a craftsman based in Courances. He specializes in the creation of invented objects, combining contemporary art and science. Fascinated by inventions since childhood, Philippe first became interested in electricity and the telephone, then built a six-meter boat. However, it was when he discovered contemporary art that he decided to become a sculptor. Under the guidance of his mentor, Belgian sculptor Pol Bury, he began to focus on creating movement in his work, adding the element of water. Philippe Bouveret's sculptures are characterized by the use of water, atmospheric pressure, heat, expansion and evaporation. These elements bring his creations to life and prove that science can be beautiful. He strives to express nature through simple, poetic and rhythmic forms. Among his creations is the "Coeur" bottle, an accessible and poetic object that everyone can have at home or offer to loved ones. Philippe creates these bottles entirely by hand in his small workshop in Courances, and sends them all over the world via his website.
