CLAUDE MILL FRANÇOIS

This is a place that we saw many times last March! And because of this, since the Moulin de Dannemois, Claude François's home, was the center of a special effervescence for the anniversary of the 40 years of the death of the famous singer. In fact, it is far from the effervescence of the Parisian capital that Claude François transformed this mill, where he settled in 1964, in a real haven of peace, which he appeared to highlight during various episodes of his professional career. Twenty years after the artist died, the site, then abandoned, was taken over by Mr. and Mrs. Lescure, a couple of bakers from Dordogne. A guided tour has been organized since then. It allows us to discover in what context the singer was living: its room, bathroom, swimming pool (in the form of a palette of painter, in which a very sophisticated sounds diffuser was installed for the time), its sauna, its wine cellar… This mill has become a true pilgrimage place for Cloclo's unconditionally unconditionally, and finish their visit to the tombstone of the idol in the cemetery of the same village. Among the «relics» they can admire are the scene costume Alexandria Alexandra, a natural silk-style city shirt model left bank of Yves Saint Laurent, boots created for Claude by the spark Mr. Anello, worn in 1973… Note that the place is a restaurant, with obviously many special evenings organized, and a tea room. In project also, the opening of a hotel in the place, which should have 11 rooms.
