SAINT-GERMAIN-L'AUXERROIS CHURCH
Church mixing several architectural styles located in Dourdan, classified as a historical monument since 1967
Facing the castle, this church dominates the left bank of the Orge. Its construction began in the 12thcentury and was completed in the early 14th century. Its style thus mixes several architectural styles. During the Hundred Years War, its upper parts were damaged. Restored, it was again damaged during the Wars of Religion. It was enlarged in the 18th century and saved again in the 19th century when it threatened to collapse. Since 1967, it is classified as a historical monument.
