ALPHONSE DAUDET'S HOUSE
This house is now a residence for French, European, African and Canadian artists
Like other artists, Alphonse Daudet settled in Champrosay from 1867 to 1897 where many came to visit him during the famous "Thursdays of Champrosay". Among others, Zola, de Goncourt, Renoir, Cézanne and Monet as well as Clemenceau. The house is now a residence for French, European, African and Canadian artists. The association which is installed there restores it gradually and proposes many animations. A place of great splendor, which deserves to be visited at least once.
