CHAMPROSAY HAMLET
A hamlet favored by many artists and ideal for relaxation, known for its vineyards and beautiful residences, including a château.
If you want to relax or get some fresh air, then the hamlet of Champrosay is the place for you. A popular vacation spot for artists in the 19th and 20th centuries, it first gained a reputation for its vineyards. Gradually, beautiful residences were built here, including a château that still stands (but cannot be visited), Alphonse Daudet's house and a number of villas. Countless famous names have passed through here: Laurencin, Cézanne, Renoir and Monet. As for nature, the Bois-Chardon estate boasts a lovely fountain fed by several springs.
