BUSSARD PARK
This garden is a remarkable example of Art Deco garden design
Composed in 1927 for Henri Boussard, this garden is a remarkable testimony of Art Deco style gardens. It was designed by Joseph Marrat. This park is organized around a water path. Mosaics of broken tiles and industrial bricks animate the paths and canals and lead to a magnificent green heart. Concrete slabs, staircases made of Lardy sandstone, simple species from the surrounding area: this unusual garden echoes an era that advocated accessible beauty from simple materials. It is the only park of its kind in Île-de-France
