ROMANIAN ORTHODOX METROPOLIS CHURCH
Built in perfection of the rules of the ancestral art of Maramureş, a region in northwestern Romania, the chapel of the Romanian Orthodox metropolis of Limours is one of the three buildings of this kind outside Romania, with Geneva and New York. In the Romanian region of origin, wooden chapels are built at the heart of forests since the xiith century. Construction follows a simple principle: We release a clearing and the cut wood is used to build the building. It is the only material. The interior of this Orthodox church, decorated with frescoes and icons, will also be appreciated. She keeps company to a large building built in 1905, which was the annex to the Romanian Embassy. A real meeting is a few meters from the city's death monument.
