UFR (UNITÉ DE FORMATION ET DE RECHERCHE) DES SCIENCES
It covers the communes of Orsay, Gif-sur-Yvette and Bures-sur-Yvette. Built in 1955, it is home to the University of Paris-Saclay, a renowned institution of higher education. The campus is home to some 30,000 students and 1,700 researchers. It offers a wide range of courses, from bachelor's degrees to doctorates, in fields such as mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry, biology and earth sciences. The campus is also renowned for its research excellence, with 40 research units and prestigious awards such as Fields Medals in mathematics and the Nobel Prize in physics. To reach the campus, take the RER B to Orsay Ville/Bures-sur-Yvette station. The campus is partially accessible to people with reduced mobility.
