LA CLARTE DIEU

La Clarté-Dieu will be happy to welcome you for your training or spiritual reflection seminars. You can make a reservation for a group or an individual. A former Franciscan seminary, La Clarté-Dieu was converted into a spiritual centre in 1969. The estate is located in Orsay in a large wooded park and is today run by a close-knit fraternity of Franciscan nuns, lay volunteers and a convent of Franciscan religious, some of whom also serve the diocese of Evry. The spiritual centre welcomes mainly groups wishing to make a religious journey, but also individuals and couples with the possibility of participating in the various liturgies of the communities. La Clarté-Dieu, for its part, offers help in terms of formation in Franciscan spirituality, rooted in the Word of God, and two retreats per year on the occasion of Advent and the Easter Triduum. Daily masses, services, adoration and the sacrament of reconciliation are the heart of this spirituality. Numerous meeting rooms and several places of prayer are available to guests. Large capacity, over 90 people, with single, double and multiple rooms. Access for the disabled with lifts to the floors. Some rooms have bathroom facilities on each floor. Possibility of accommodation in rooms only, half board or full board. On-site catering with a large dining room.
