SEGREZ ARBORETUM
Arboretum of Segrez with a park in the heart of the domain, with some trees labeled "remarkable trees
At the heart of the estate where the Marquis d'Argenson, then the Countess de Blot, lived, this park became an arboretum in the 19th century under the impetus of the owners, the Lavallée family, who introduced species from around the world. One can walk through the park to discover charming perspectives marked out by selected, unpublished, centenarian or young species, a whole which extends over nearly 24 hectares. Some of the trees are labeled "remarkable trees". The park and its domain, including an orangery and a sheepfold, are listed in the inventory of historical monuments.
