ANCIENT ROYAL WAX FACTORY
Founded in 1702 by Péan de Saint-Gilles, this factory became royal manufacturing in 1719. Inscribed in the Supplementary Inventory of Historic Monuments since 1929, the original building was built in 1714: They produced candles and candles for the court of Versailles and the other castles of the region. The clock with hammer stamp overcrowding is nicknamed the Trudonne, in memory of Mrs. Trudon, who had offered this clock to her husband's workers. The building is now occupied by the sisters of Saint Joseph de Cluny who settled there in 1890. The chapel was built in 1930 on the plans of architect Hardy.
