RAYMOND SIBILLE PARK
This 1.4 ha park in the city center has a historic history since it is already on a city plan of 1674. Around 1815, the property belonged to Mr. de Ballainvilliers, then inheritance to Mrs. Velpeau, the wife of the famous surgeon. In 1905, the remains were destroyed, and the entrance porch remains today. The beautiful trees that adorn the park were probably planted, for the oldest, by the family of Ballainvilliers. The park, opened in 2003 with many tree species, is now an arboretum: of the purple, cedar, beech, Virginia tulips or Judea trees - rare enough - adorn this nice park.
