PREMIÈRE URGENCE INTERNATIONALE
Première Urgence Internationale is a French humanitarian association, apolitical and secular. Created in 2011 by the merger of the French NGOs Première Urgence and Aide Médicale Internationale, it works to restore access to healthcare for populations excluded from any health system, and works with the most disadvantaged populations in 25 countries. Today, it supports 195 programs, thanks to the presence of 207 expatriates in the field and over 3,000 national staff.
What do they offer? Première Urgence Internationale intervenes in emergency and post-emergency situations, working to restore access to healthcare for excluded populations or those living in extremely precarious conditions.
The mission of our employees is to provide a comprehensive response to the fundamental needs of crisis-affected populations. Areas of intervention: health, nutrition, mental health and psychosocial support, food security, economic recovery and livelihoods, water, hygiene and sanitation, protection, camp management, construction & rehabilitation, cash transfers..
Where? Première Urgence Internationale offers 6-month to 1-year fixed-term contracts in 25 countries in Africa, South America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
Profile and conditions. Employees in the field have a medical profile (doctor, midwife, pharmacist, nurse, etc.) or a managerial and/or logistical profile (administrator, technician in sanitation, reconstruction, transport, etc.). All must have sufficiently conclusive experience in the humanitarian field.
