CITÉ DES GRÉSILLONS
Cité des Grésillons, designed on the model of garden cities, composed of red brick buildings, about 750 dwellings
The Cité des Grésillons is a very interesting architectural testimony. In 1930, it was decided to build it on former Parisian landfills, located in the commune of Asnières. Composed of red brick buildings, it has approximately 750 dwellings. It was designed on the model of the garden cities then in vogue in Europe, according to a concept of 1898 theorized by the British urbanist Ebenezer Howard. Between each construction, green spaces brighten up the whole. A place to see, but also to think about.
