Le Corbusier (1887-1965), painter, sculptor, planner and writer built this building, which is one of the first achievements of the artist's collective housing. It comprises apartments on seven floors. The last was occupied by the architect who arranged his workshop, now owned by the Le Corbusier Foundation. Facades and roofs are now part of historic monuments. The building is part of the 1930 s route proposed by the city of Boulogne-Billancourt to honour the architecture of this period that is so present in the city.
