FOX MANSION
Special hotel Renard (1926-1928) built by architect Jean-Léon Courrèges (1885-1948). The architect draws inspiration from the neo-rural aesthetics, the principles of the Glasgow School and advocates decorative style in contrast to houses built during the 1930 s, who claim their belonging to the international style. The house is decorated with the motifs of fruit and flowers. The house exposes passers-by of the high-windows windows to being and being wrought iron balconies. The first floor of the building was inhabited by André Malraux from 1945 to 1962. This residence is part of the 1930 s route proposed by the city of Boulogne-Billancourt to discover the architecture of this very widespread period in the region.
