Garden designed around 1900 by a Japanese gardener, Mr. Hata, who arrived in France for the Paris World Fair
At Edmond de Rothschild's initiative, this garden was designed around 1900 by a Japanese gardener, Mr. Hata landed in France at the 1878 Paris World Exposition. After working in several houses, the latter began working in the property of the Baron, built on the model of the castle of Clagny, work of Mansart, and Versailles for the inner courtyard. For specialists, the garden designed by Mr. Hata would take over the tea pavilion that was the subject of an exhibition at the 1878 world event that called on the landscape to move. The Rothschild family continued to maintain the park and the Japanese garden of 1 ha until 1939, i. e. to the Occupation. At the end of the war, the Rothschild family recovered an looted property, which it was no longer living. Today this construction is no longer, only its foundations can be observed at the top of the hill. Today there is a small river, a pond and a waterfall, a traditional red dot and a stone lantern. From vegetation, only trees, with nanifiés origin, have returned to normal size. With the connection of the A 13 to the ring, the castle, completely dilapidated, was isolated from the rest of the whole.
