The launch of pioneering actions such as "2 pairs for the price of 1" in 1988, the distributor products in 1997 and the titanium operations from 2000 contributed to the success and expansion of the brand. In 1989, Optic 2000 opened a training center to train young opticians to manage an optical business and to provide ongoing training for opticians. In 1997, the optician diversified his activity with products distributors in lenses, lenses and frames. In 1999, the group began to expand with the creation of two subsidiaries - Audio 2000, a hearing aid brand, and Optic 2000 Switzerland, which gave it an international dimension - then in 2003 with the purchase of Lissac Opticien and then Frères Lissac. The Optic 2000 Group quickly became one of the major players in the French optical and audiology market.
