SAINT-MÉDARD CHURCH
Mentioned from the xiiith century (some believed that a wooden merovingian building existed), the Saint-Médard church owes its name to a bishop of Noyon of the life century. The building was restored in 1525 and then from 1623 by Saint Vincent of Paul, who was then the parish priest. The church retains some of its relics. In 1900, Saint Vincent's Church was added to the old building, which became too small. This architectural ensemble has been classified in Historic Monuments since 1969 and is thus a very popular architectural property of the inhabitants of the city. Its massive look is not without recalling a country church, which is a slice of the city's urban environment.
