FONDATION GROUPE UP

Groupe Up is the creator of the lunch voucher, a meal voucher co-financed by the employer and the employee. This special payment voucher, totally exempt from social security and tax charges, allows beneficiaries to take their meals in a network of more than 180,000 catering points throughout France. Since 2013, the group's products have been labelled Origine France Garantie.

History. The Chèque Déjeuner was born in 1964, out of a social and solidarity-based desire. It was created by Groupe Up, the world's No. 3 in the prepaid cheques and service cards market. For 50 years, it has been working on social, cultural and gift solutions.

The Up Group Foundation, created in 1999 under the aegis of the Fondation de France, aims to support concrete, innovative and measurable actions that promote reintegration and the creation of sustainable jobs. In the regions, it has a network of about twenty delegates, all activists and volunteers. Constituted as a SCOP to involve all its employees in its project, it has developed without ever moving away from its original commitment: to create the means for solidarity and contribute to improving everyone's quality of life. A wonderful collective adventure, the Chèque Déjeuner has demonstrated on a daily basis that it is possible to undertake otherwise and combine economic performance with social progress.

Thus, from Chèque Déjeuner was created the Groupe Chèque Déjeuner, which now operates in many societal fields and very often its proposals have made it possible to contribute to the better life of the greatest number of people, while respecting the humanist values of solidarity, freedom and equality.

It was therefore only natural that the Chèque Déjeuner Group should set up a Foundation in order to extend its solidarity practices outwards and take a more active part in the fight against the exclusions that are eating away at the whole of society.
