As the gateway to Paris for all goods transiting by river, this port is the largest multimodal platform in the Ile-de-France region in terms of both surface area and activity. It allows the transit of 20 million tons of goods each year and more than 275 companies are located there. Part of the site has been developed for walking: there are bicycle paths along the Seine, an arboretum and enhanced water features. Seeing the vastness of the containers, the cranes and the boats is not without interest.
