FÉDÉRATION NATIONALE DES CHASSEURS

At the public level, the National Federation of Hunters arrives just below the ministry responsible for hunting, it coordinates and represents with the national authorities the departmental and regional federations of the hunters. Under the supervision of the minister responsible for hunting, the National Hunters'Federation sets the minimum amount of the contribution that each hunter must pay to the departmental federation to which he subscribes, and that it collects. It also manages funds for the prevention and compensation of game damage, including damage to large game, for which hunters pay a special contribution each year. Its centralising role implies the need to coordinate the actions it conducts at the level of departmental and regional federations. For this reason, it provides support to departments and regions in support of different services, such as technical, computer, legal or accounting services. Since 2010, its chairman is Bernard Baudin.
