France's only museum dedicated to playing cards, with over 6,500 decks. Cards are played all over the world! Discover the geography and history of their aesthetics, symbolic values, manufacture, rules past and present... Activities include workshops for children, magic shows and introductions to ancient games. An adjacent gallery traces the history of the town of Issy-les-Moulineaux. All year round, escape game at the museum.

Opening time and information on FRENCH PLAYING CARD MUSEUM
Free admission on 1st Sunday of each month (free guided tour at 4pm, except July and August). Open Wednesday to Friday, 11am to 5pm; weekends, 2pm to 6pm. Open in July, Wednesday to Sunday, 1pm to 6pm. Annual closure in August. Free admission for children under 26. Adults: €6. Reduced rate : 4,50 €. Tourism & Handicap label. Free audioguide. Guided tour. Gift store. Activities. Shows, workshops, conferences. Documentation center open on Wednesdays.
Owner's Message
The Musée d'Issy-les-Moulineaux combines heritage and modernity, highlighting the originality of its collections and museographic presentation.
The architectural program is based on two principles: the enhancement of the "Pavillon Conti", designed to house the city's history collections, and the nearby erection of a modern building dedicated to playing cards.
A family escape game at the Museum
This investigation, specially created for the Museum by Escape-kid, offers a series of enigmas to be solved in less than an hour. The game is designed for adults and children aged 7 and over. Players form a team of 3 to 6 investigators and must organize themselves and cooperate to complete the mission.
Free admission on the 1st Sunday of the month (free guided tour at 4pm, except July and August). The audioguide is free.
