Address offering Indian cuisine with a menu of classic preparations of the country.
The "elephant god" has moved from the 17th arrondissement to Levallois without losing any of its strong points: well prepared dishes, impeccable cutlery and impeccable service. The menu is elaborated by an owner originally from Mumbai, who offers the classic preparations of the country including the popular byrianis, massalas and madras. Cooked in a real clay tandoor, giving also this so specific flavor to the Indian breads plated on the walls of the oven... In short we find here the true taste of the Indian cooking by a culinary practice respectful of the traditions. Tikka salmon, tandoori prawns with fragrant spices, jalfrezi shrimps sautéed with peppers, onions and tomatoes, fish curry... or Moghalai lamb with almonds, raisins, cashew nuts, eggs and spices, the menu knows how to get off the beaten track while offering dishes that are very characteristic, especially of northern India. Bandol, Tavel and rosé wines from Provence are the usual travel companions of these spicy dishes but "try the adventure" with some well-chosen reds: sancerre, brouilly or lalande de Pomerol. Finish with an Indian ice cream or a rose baba to see life... on the side of small gourmet pleasures. You will meet Parisian regulars who have remained faithful to the brand, which is a good sign, and the Levallois anchorage is now well assured.

J'aime bien leur cuisine bien épicée mais ils font aussi pour ceux qui n'aiment pas quand ça pique trop.
