LA FERMERIE
Behind the covered market in Levallois hides this cheese house which also sells wine and prepares very good cheese specialities that can be tasted at midday and Tuesdays and Fridays. The boss, Charles Varin-Bernier, is a former De, a large French cheese company. He wanted to leave the industrial product for the farmer product. He works live with the producers and refines his cheese himself in a cellar at the bottom of his store. He develops his own recipes like, for example, a goat cheese with Provence herbs made home.
