If we know that a church was built in Meudon in the 12th century, there is no trace of it. The origin of the church of Saint-Martin dates back to 1570, and was enlarged by a nave and a bell tower a hundred years later. Classified as a Historic Monument in 1996, it includes 18th century woodwork and paintings. The building has recently undergone extensive restoration work - the organ was restored in 2013 - with the support of the City of Meudon and is the pride of many of its inhabitants.
