As the French leader in the optical market, Krys Group stands out for the cooperative values that have driven it since its creation in 1966. With 1,368 stores worldwide under 3 complementary brands - Krys, Vision Plus and Lynx Optique - Krys Group posted sales of €987 million in 2016.

As a producer and distributor, it is the ^leading employer in the sector, with 6,000 jobs in France. ^1st glassmaker to obtain the "Origine France Garantie" label in 2012, Krys Group is the only optical group to manufacture its own lenses in France, in Bazainville (78). A guarantee of quality, speed and competitiveness from which it directly benefits its 4 million customers.

History. Created in 1966 as a cooperative, Krys Group distributes optical equipment combining innovation, technology and expertise through its 3 brands (Krys, Vision Plus and Lynx Optique).

Since 1980, the Bazainville (Yvelines) site has been responsible for Krys Group's purchasing, logistics and production activities. It is the only optical group in France to manufacture its lenses.

1.3 million lenses are produced each year from its production site.

In 2012, the Group was the first glassmaker to obtain the Origine France Garantie label for its white, colored and polarized ophthalmic lenses, a label renewed in 2015.

The Bazainville site has been gradually ramped up in recent years, with the relocation of the production of 250,000 lenses from 2011. To go further, Krys Group decided at the end of 2014 to allocate 12 million euros over 3 years to the modernisation of this site. These investments contribute to the growth of the Group's activities with the aim of reaching 10 million products sold per year. They have also contributed to the creation of 60 jobs.

Since 2014, Krys Group has been diversifying into hearing with Krys Audition.
