The American Hospital of Paris is a multidisciplinary healthcare facility located in Neuilly-sur-Seine, just outside Paris. Founded in 1906, it is supported by a private non-profit foundation. The hospital comprises the original hospital and a clinic acquired in 2017. It has 187 beds and offers medical and surgical care in various specialties, including ophthalmology. The ophthalmology department offers consultations and treatment for eye diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, corneal pathologies, refractive disorders and laser surgery, retinal diseases, vitreous diseases, ophthalmology-pediatrics and palpebral and lacrimal pathologies. The hospital has an ultra-modern operating theatre for surgical procedures.
