L’ESCARGOT 1903
Terribly well restored, this establishment is more than 100 years old, without losing an ounce of its former charm, and it offers a cosy interior with a refined decoration, with a superb terrace on sunny days. In this part of Puteaux, far from the towers of La Défense, in a district where the grinding stone is the main material of any construction, this place has a serious reputation. The freshness of the products and the attention paid to their preparation are undeniable, as is the very contemporary creativity of the dishes: ravioli stuffed with ricotta cheese and pineapple sage, roasted sobacha, poultry consommé, Noirmoutier sole and its flour mill and candied potato strips, Challans can (yes, the Vendean products are in the spotlight) and its sorrel evening. Of course, no one will be surprised to find that the chef has received multiple awards. It's expensive, but so good. The proof: the reservation is almost mandatory.

Tout est bon du début à la fin. J'ai particulièrement apprécié leurs plats de poissons.
