The museum covers an area of 18 hectares and contains rare species of trees and shrubs

A visit to the Musée National du Château de Bois-Préau, which reopened its doors in 2022, will give you ample opportunity to admire its grand neo-Louis XV salon, a reconstruction of the Longwood salon. This includes some of the furniture from Napoleon's residence on St. Helena, as well as a collection of boxes bearing the emperor's effigy. This monument, which is now used for temporary exhibitions, is part of the 18-hectare park, home to rare and beautiful plant species.

The gardens are magnificent in summer. I recommend a stroll!
