It is in the historical society of Rueil-Malmaison that we owe this small, but fascinating museum. Responsible for the security and immediate entourage of Louis XV, the Swiss Guards were housed here in Rueil in a barracks specifically built to meet their needs. Today is the museum's guard station. Completely free, on two floors, it brings together clothes, objects and costumes, as well as numerous documents. Open one afternoon a week, it deserves a great deal, if you go to that moment by the city, a detour, and even more.
