Stella Matutina is an unusual monument located in Saint-Cloud, created by Alain Bourdonnais, during an architectural competition.
Alain Bourdonnais created Stella la Matutina (morning star) during an architectural competition asking participants to design a lighting system. Stella Matutina glows like a star. Its copper roof is supported by nine wooden beams, some of which rise 33 meters high. Blanchet designed the stained glass windows that light up in the daylight. Adrien Maciet's organ is very effective in this space with incredible acoustics. The work of Claude Maréchal, made of enamel and synthetic crystals, stands behind the altar. An unusual monument.
