Begun in February 1870 plans of municipal architect J. Berault, the construction of the city hall of Saint-Cloud was stopped by decree of the city council of 20 August 1870. Work resumed in April 1873, the mayor took office in early 1874. Expanded in 1924 by the municipal architect Henri Renard, the building of the town hall was elevated and expanded in 1966 according to plans made by Maurice Benezech, the architect. The interior is a semi-antique style, normal size bourgeois house found in the province.
