THÉÂTRE JEAN-VILAR
The Jean-Vilar theatre, built in the heart of the garden city in 1938, a small architectural cousin of the Chaillot Theatre, bears the name of the one who made this place its first "dramatic bastion" in the 1950 s. Jean Vilar organized festivals in the form of artistic weekends where spectators could meet actors and directors, but also eat and dance with them at the ball. Renovated and reopened in 1990, the theatre has had a nice programming of dance performances, as well as theatre, music and children's shows. Suresnes Danses dances, urban dance festival, is undoubtedly the most important event of the theatre. It comes every year!
