These silvery ponds allow us to feel the misty nostalgia that emanates from Corot's paintings

This forest of birches, oaks and chestnut trees is a remnant of the ancient forest of Rouvray, which extends from Boulogne to Versailles. As for the pond, it is inhabited by frogs... You have to walk around these ponds with their silvery reflections and in the forest of Fausses-Reposes to feel the misty nostalgia that emanates from the paintings of Corot, who had his country house nearby. Si près de Paris et presque la campagne. La forêt de Fausses-Reposes avec les étangs est un lieu paisible où nous avons eu plaisir à flâner, après avoir déjeuné d'un excellent couscous au restaurant l'Etoile de Tiznit tout proche.
