Born in 1938 in Kharkiv, Boris Mikhailov is one of the major artists of the world art scene. He has received several awards and his work has been presented in major museums around the world. The Maison Européenne de la Photographie is pleased to dedicate an important retrospective to him, with an exhibition of no less than 800 works, up to the most recent ones. Boris Mikhailov does not hesitate to shake up the codes, with a work that lies at the borders of conceptual, documentary photography, performance and painting.
