The Maison Européenne de la Photographie presents the first retrospective in France dedicated to activist Zanele Muholi. The artist, who considers herself non-binary, documents through her work the lives of individuals from the black LGBTQIA+ community in a country,South Africa, where they continue to suffer discrimination. The exhibition unveils over 200 photographs, including sublime black and white portraits, as well as videos and installations that trace the visual activist's work since the early 2000s.
