Starting this autumn, the Musée Maillol presents a retrospective of the work of painter Chéri Samba. Spanning 40 years of creation, the 50 works unveiled to the public come from the Jean Pigozzi collection, one of the most important collections of contemporary African art in the world! This is an opportunity to delve into the artist's favourite themes: self-portraiture, the Congo - his native country - and Africa in general, as well as the environment, geopolitics, art history and women. This last theme offers the opportunity for an exceptional dialogue with Maillol's work. For further information, click here.
