Popular in Germany, the milon technology makes its arrival in France in a room in the 15th arrondissement with a revolutionary weight training circuit. It is a circuit composed of 8 machines: 6 of musculation allowing to work the main muscle groups and 2 of cardio. Once you enter the circuit, which lasts 17.5 minutes, everything is timed: 1 minute of effort, 30 seconds to change machines for weight training and 4 minutes for cardio. So there are no expectations and that leads us to take a training pace. Easy in the first round, a little less in the second.
Big advantage compared to the usual clubs, the circuit is done with a personalized magnetic card that records the settings of the machines in relation to our morphology. This first adjustment is done by a coach who adapts it to each one. The intensity is memorized and each training session is the continuation of the previous one. Physiotherapists are in favour of this type of circuit because the indicators on the machines encourage the movements to be made at constant speed so that the force exerted on the muscle is identical. Moreover, the electronic (not mechanical) adjustment of the machine allows for forcing on both phases of the movement (eccentric and concentric), this allows to work in both phases of the movement which is not the case with traditional machines
Last but not least, due to the intensity and short duration of the training, the body does not have time to get the necessary energy from the muscles, and therefore burns the available calories to produce energy quickly. The metabolic rate then increases considerably, and the body continues to burn calories until 24 hours after the session. It is the "afterburning effect" that makes the program effective
